Do you really need an electric stapler?!?

I don’t know if this  a critique on our society but I have a hard time seeing why anyone would need an automatic stapler.  I have never had a group of papers that was too thick that I couldn’t push it through.   And I have a hard time believe the automatic one would do it better then I would.

Is it a laziness thing or just one of those things that if technology can do it for us that we simple stop doing like opening doors or walkways in airports.  Well, if the world is going that way, then I will be one of the last stalwarts against this.   I don’t see the reason and will keep my stapler.
